Cooper's Candle Co. is a home-based, family business. We both share a love of animals, and the environment. We named our company after our adorable rescue pup,' Cooper'. Sadly, we lost 'Coop' in May of this year. He is still an important part of our family, and our company.
We set out to produce the highest quality, cleanest burning, and the most aromatic candles available. Each candle and fragrance product is meticulously handcrafted with love, creativity, and a passion for excellence. We want our products to help provide the ambience that memories are made of. Over the years we have expanded our product line to include; Reed Diffusers, room sprays, and Soaps. All our products are made with Certified Clean Scent+© fragrances, non-toxic bases.
Donna is the creative artist, and owner. She is a tireless perfectionist, and is always focused on providing our customers with the best experience possible. Donna comes from a career in banking and mortgages, she is an amazing business owner.
Steve is an Army veteran. After the Army he became a chemist. Attending W.C.U. for Graduate school. He worked in R&D, manufacturing, and sales. He retired in 2020 from his career after 30 years He provides chemical know-how, and does the testing of each new fragrance. Together, we are a team. We are dedicated to customer service, quality, and your satisfaction. We practice continuous improvement in all aspects of our business. We put 100% of our time, love, and a lot of "sweat equity" into Cooper's Candles everyday. We consider our customers as family, and feel privileged to serve you. Our greatest reward from our work is hearing how much people enjoy our products.
Our candles are artfully hand poured in small batches with a pet-friendly, non-toxic, coconut-soy wax, and the highest quality "certified clean +©" fragrances available. Our fragrances contain no parabens, pesticides, sulfates, phthalates, or other toxins (as found in mass-manufactured petroleum candles). Steve checks every Safety Data Sheet to ensure there are no unsafe components present. Even our wicks are natural cotton to ensure a clean burn. It may also help to know that none of our products have been tested on animals. Our scented creations are considered vegan-friendly.
We live here full time in the Western North Carolina mountains. We love the beauty of this region; the people, the culture, and welcome all who visit this beautiful area.
